Reema swims in pool that is 100 metre wide she covers 200 in 10 minutes by swimming in one direction and then swimming back along the same path. calculate her average speed and average velocity
(ans-speed is 0.3 and velocity 0 but I don't know how it comes please gave me the solution in notebook who gave write answer I will chose him/her the brainlist)​

speed=1/3 m/s

Explanation:

Distance=The total length covered when moving from one point to another.

Displacement=this is a vactor quantity with direction and magnitude.it is the moment from one point to another in a certain direction.

If you move from one point to another and back to the same point the displacement is 0.

if she swims 200m it means she swims back to the same point and the displacement is 0.

velocity=displacement/time

time=10* 60= 600

velocity=0/600=0m/s

distance covered=200m

speed=distance/time

speed=200/600=1/3 m/s
