Let Neelu's age be x years

Then, Reena's age will be (x + 27) years

After 8 years ➮

Neelu's age = (x + 8) years

Then, Reena's age will be [(x + 27) + 8] years = (x + 35) years

It is given that, after 8 years Reena will be twice as old as Neelu

➮35 - 16 = 2x - x
