then the age of Reena will be x+6
sum of their ages is =x+(x+6)=28
x+x+6=28
2x+6=28
2x=28-6
2x=22
x=22/2
therefore x=11
hence,the present age of Ajay is 11 years and Reena's age =6+x=6+11=17years
