Answer:

Auto speed = 7.5 km/hr

Bus Speed = 20 km/Hr

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Speed of Auto = A km/hr

& Speed of Bus = B km/hr

She takes 1 hour if she travels 3 km by auto and the remaining by bus

Time taken = Distance / Speed

1  = 3/A  + (15-3)/B

=> 1 = 3/A + 12/B

=> AB = 3B + 12A

if she travels 5 km by auto and the remaining by bus, she takes 10 minutes longer

1 + 10/60  = 5/A + (15-5)/B

=> 7/6 = 5/A + 10/B

=> 7AB = 30B + 60A

=> 30B + 60A = 7(3B + 12A)

=> 30B + 60A = 21B + 84A

=> 9B = 24A

=> 3B = 8A

AB = 3B + 12A

=> A(8A/3)  = 8A + 12A

=> 8A² = 60A

=> 8A = 60

=> A = 7.5 km/hr

3B  = 60

=> B = 20 km/hr

Auto speed = 7.5 km/hr

Bus Speed = 20 km/Hr
