Reenu's father is thrice as old as Rennu.After 12 years he will be just twice his daughter. Find their present age

Heya mate, Here is ur answer

Let Reenu's age be x years.

Then, Father's age =3x

After 12 years

Reenu's age =x+12

Father's age =3x+12

A/Q

Father's age after 12 years =2(x+12)

3x+12=2(x+12)

3x+12=2x+24

Taking like terms a side

3x-2x=24-12

x=12

So,

Reenu's age=12 years

Father's age=3×12

=36 years

Let the present ages of Reenu be x and Reenu's father be 3x (Reenu's father is thrice as old as Rennu.)

Reenu's age after 12 years: x + 12

After 12 years he will be just twice his daughter: 3x + 12 = 2(x + 12)

3x + 12 = 2x + 24

3x - 2x = 24 - 12

x = 12

Therefore Reenu's age  = 12 and Reenu's father's age = 3*12 = 36
