Answer :-

Let us assume that, height of reeta is x m .

so,

→ tan θ = perpendicular / base .

→ tan θ = height of reeta / shadow of reeta .

→ tan 45° = x / 3

→ 1 = x/3

→ x = 3 ft .(Ans.)

Hence, height of reeta is 3 ft.

To Find : the height of Reeta

1) 3√3ft

2) 3 ft

3) 6ft

4)6√3ft

Solution:

Tan ( angle of elevation )   =  Height /  Shadow length

angle of elevation= 45°

Height  = h   ft

Shadow  length = 3 ft

Tan 45°  = h/3

Tan 45° = 1

=> 1 = h/3

=> 3 = h

=> h = 3

height of Reeta is 3 ft
