Gautama Buddha was a prince named Siddhartha Gautama,in northern India.

At about age of 25 , the prince heretofore shielded from the sufferings of the world . while out hunting he approached a sick man, an aged man and a funeral procession . This sights moved him very much and finally he became monk begging for alms
