Answer:

c)x+4y+3=0

Step-by-step explanation:

according to distance formula,

distance between (x,y) and (-4,-4) is

√((x+4)² + (y+4)²)

similarly distance between (x,y) and (-2,4)

is √((x+2)² + (y-4)²)

It is given that both the distance are same.

therefore,

√((x+4)² + (y+4)² )= √((x+2)² + (y-4)²)

taking square on both sides,

(x+4)² + (y+4)² = (x+2)² + (y-4)²

x²+8x+16 +y²+ 8y +16= x²+4x+4+y²-8y+16

therefore,

8x +16+8y=4x +4-8y

4x+16y+12=0

dividing both sides by 4

x+4y+3=0
