To find the molar mass, we have to add the masses of atom which is present in the compound.

The mass of molecules of the compounds given in the question are solved below -

1. HCL

Atomic mass of Hydrogen = 1

Atomic Mass (Cl) = 35.5

So,

Molar Mass = 1 + 35.5 = 36.5 g

2. NH3

Mass of atom of N = 14

Mass of H = 1

Molecular Mass = 14 + (1 x 3)

  •                      = 17 g

3. CH4

Mass of C = 12

Mass of H = 1

Molar Mass = 12 + (1 x 4)

  • Molar Mass = 12 + (1 x 4)              = 16 g

4. CO

Mass of C = 12

Mass of O = 16

Molar Mass = 16 + 12 = 28 g

5. NaCl

Mass of Na = 23

Mass of Cl = 35.5

Molar Mass = 23 + 35.5

  • Molar Mass = 23 + 35.5              = 58.5 g
