Answer:

An acid is defined as liquid substance that can dissolve metal and may burn your skin or clothes. Acids have a pH value of less than 7.

Acid gas is a mixture of hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide, with small amounts of hydrocarbon gases and usually water vapor.

Acid rain is rain or any other form of precipitation that is unusually acidic, meaning that it has elevated levels of hydrogen ions. Most water, including the water we drink, has a neutral pH that exists between 6.5-8.5, but acid rain has a pH level lower than this and ranges from 4-5 on average.

Explanation:

1. Acid are the substance which are sour in taste they fernish H+ or H3O+ ion when dissolved in water. PH of an acid is 0-6.9

2. The gases formed by acid is called Acid gas for example HCL ( hydrogen chloride gas ) is a gas but when it dissolve in water it is HCL ( hydro chloric acid)

3. When the forms of nitrogen and sulfur gas got mixed up with the water present in the atmosphere the pH of rain fall below 5.6 and it is bad for monuments like taj mehal etc..
