$☞ \frac{6(6x + 1) + 6 \times 1 \:}{3} = \frac{6(x - 3)}{6}$

(opening the brackets )

$➪ \: 2(6x + 1) + 6 = x - 3$

$➪2x + 2 + 6 = x - 3$

$➪12x + 8 = x - 3$

$➪12x - x + 8 = - 3$

$➪11x + 8 = - 3$

$➪ \: 11x = - 3 - 8$
