Explanation:

R= u²sin2x/g

u²= gR/ sin2x

mu²/2= mgR/ 2sin2x

KE= mgR/2sin2x

KEmax=> sin2x is to be min= - 1

KEmax= -mgR/2

here m and g have constant value

therefore for Max KE range should be half of it's max value.

hence range = R/2 for Max K E this (c) is correct.
