Answer:on increasing the temperature of water the kinetic energy of molecules of water increases. Due to increase in kinetic energy the particles of water starts vibrating .The energy given by heat overcomes force of attraction and the particles starts moving freely forming intermolecular space and then a stage comes when water is vaporised and converted to gas

Hope this answer helps
