Atmosphere of Earth is composed of gases that surround the Earth like an envelope.

Atmosphere protects the life on the Earth by keeping the oxygen inside it, preventing temperature extremes of day and night, absorbing harmful UV rays, keeping water in liquid state and warming surface through hat retention. There are five layers of atmosphere:

Exosphere, Thermosphere, Mesoshpere, Stratosphere and Troposphere.

Apart from these primary layers there are certain secondary layers performing certain activities. Ionosphere reflects radio waves.
