Hello buddy.
Refraction of light means the light bending ability of light when it travels from one medium to another medium.
When light goes from rarer medium to denser medium, it bents towards the normal. When light goes from the denser medium t to rarer medium, it moves away from the normal.
The incident ray, the refracted ray and the normal are in the same plane.
sin∠i / sin∠r = consant.
Hope it helps!

here is your answer ⬇️⬇️⬇️
==> when light travels from one medium to another medium, its direction changes at the interface .
==> the phenomenon of changing direction at the interface of two media is called refraction of light.
==> it has 2 media
1) denser medium.
2) Rarer medium.
==> if light ray enters from rarer medium to denser medium then refracted ray moves towards the normal drawn at the interface of separation of two media.
==> When it travels from denser medium to rarer medium it bends away from normal.
==> here, sin i = sin r.
hope my answer helps you ✌
