helloo...!!

The term monochromatic comes from the Greek words mono, meaning single, and chroma, meaning color. So monochromatic light literally means light of one color. In scientific terms, it means light of a single wavelength. Light is a term for the visible and near visible portions of electromagnetic radiation

Hello friend! Thanks for asking question, here is the answer.

REFRACTION OF MONOCHROMATIC LIGHT :

>> A wave of light of single frequency or wavelength is called Monochromatic Light.
>> A Monochromatic Light when travels in the same medium it follows straight line path.
>> When a Monochromatic rsy of light is incident obliquely on the interface of two media, part of light is incident obliquely on the interface of 2 media, part of the light is reflected back into the same medium. This phenomenon is called Parial Reflection. The remaining part of light is transmitted in the second medium. This is called Refraction of Light.

Hope it helps you.
