refractive index of air with respective to glass is 2/3. The refractive index of air with respective to water is 3/4. find the refractive index of glass with respective to water.

in general the refreactive index of the second medium with respect to the first medium is given by:

speed of light in first medium/ speed of light in second medium

here the R.I. of water with respect to air is 4/3 if we take the speed of light in water(second medium) as first and the speed of light in air(first medium) as second we get that the R.I. of air with respect to water is the reciprocal of theR.I. of water with respect to air and i.e. 3/4
