speed of light in vaccum / C = 3×10⁸ m/s

let the speed of light in glass be = v

ratio = 3/2

we know, (absolute) refractive index = C/v

therefore, the equation would be like :-

C/v = 3/2

=> 3v = 2C

=> 3v = 2 × 3×10⁸

=> 3v = 6×10⁸

=> v = (6×10⁸)/3

=> v = 2×10⁸m/s
