Refractive Index of water with respect to air is 4/3 and that the glass with air is 3/2. Calculate the refractive index of glass with the respect to water and that of water with respect of glass.​

R.I of glass w.r.t water= R.I of glass/ R.I of water

= 3/2÷ 4/3

= 9/8

R.I of water w.r.t glass= R.I of water/ R.I of glass

= 4/3÷3/2

= 8/9
