Refractive index =
sin I/sin r

Why we are using sin only.
Why we are not using cos,cot,tan,sec,cosec???

anyone know the answer please answer me​

Answer:

Because sin = opposite / Hypotenuse

so the angle in refractive index is opposite /hypotenuse..

so trigonometric value (sin) is used here. ...
