Answer:

total momentum before Collison = 10kg·m/s

velocity of combined object = 1.6m/s

Explanation:

For Object(Before Collison)

   mass = 1kg

   velocity = 10m/s

   momentum = 10kg·m/s

For Wooden Block(After Collison)

   mass = 5kg + 1kg (as object sticks to it after collison)

   => 6kg

   v = ?

   momentum = 6v

according to law of conservation of momentum both momentum should be equal

so .

10 = 6v

10/6 = v

v = 1.6m/s
