Answer:

REGENRATION:-

  • Regeneration type of asexual method of reproduction.
  • Asexual method of reproduction is a method in in which no gametes are involved and only one patent is involved in the process of reproduction.
  • In this type of reproduction, the organism has the ability to give rise to new individual from their body parts.
  • Here, regenerating the the lost part doesn't happen but with the lost part a new individual is regenerated.
  • This is possible because of the presence of specialised cells that carries regeneration.
  • The examples of such organisms which undergo regeneration are planaria and hydra.
  • From the mass of cells lost, difference between cells undergo changes and various cell types and tissues are made leading to the generation of new organism.
  • These changes take place in a sequence which is referred as development.
  • The regeneration is sometimes not referred as reproduction, because not every organism is not able to regenerate a new organism through a lost part of the body.

QUESTION :

Answer properly.

SOLUTION :

The answer is Yes.

The organism undergoing regeneration can regain it's lost part .

To understand this better, Let me first explain " What Is Regeneration " ?

Regeneration is the process by which biological organisms can replace , restore , or relate lost body parts.

So, after the process of regeneration, an exact replica of the lost or amputed part of the body is obtained.
