Hello Dear,

◆ Answer -

g = 980 cm/s^2

◆ Explaination -

Distance travelled by freely falling body in 5 s is -

s1 = 1/2 gt1^2

s1 = 1/2 × g × 5^2

s1 = 25g/2

Distance travelled by freely falling body in 6 s is -

s2 = 1/2 gt2^2

s2 = 1/2 × g × 6^2

s2 = 18g

Distance travelled by body in 6th s is -

s = s2 - s1

5390 = 18g - 25g/2

5390 = g × (18-25/2)

g = 5390 × 2 / 11N

g = 980 cm/s^2

Therefore, value of g is 980 cm/s^2.

Thanks dear.
