rehan donated 15%of his saving and distributed the remaining amount among his two children and wife equally .if the total saving of rehan is Rs 120000.find the amount donated ,also find the amount received by his wife and each child.

Total savings Rehan had = Rs 1,20,000

Now, he donated the 15% of it = 15/100 × 120000
= Rs 18000

Now, he distributed remaining in his wife and 2 children equally, let each amount be x

x + x + x = Rs Remaining

Remaining = 120000- 18000
= Rs102000

3 x = 102000
x = 102000/3 = Rs 34000
