• Original price of dress.

ㅤ$\;\;\underline{\textbf{\textsf{Solution :-}}}$

Let the Original price be x.

After GSt the Price will be = x+12%x

$\leadsto {\sf{ x + \frac{12}{100}x = 5400 }}$

$\leadsto {\sf{ x + \frac { \cancel{12}}{ \cancel{100}}x = 5400 }}$

$\leadsto {\sf{ x + \frac {3} {25}x = 5400 }}$

$\leadsto {\sf{ \frac {25x + 3x} {25} = 5400 }}$

$\leadsto {\sf{ 25x + 3x = 5400 \times 25 }}$

$\leadsto {\sf{ 28x = 135000}}$

$\leadsto {\sf{ x = \frac{135000}{28} }}$

$\leadsto {\sf{ x = 4821.42 }}$
