Answer:-

Given:

Total number of coins = 50

Let the number of 20 P coins be x and number of 25 P coins be y

→ x + y = 50 -- equation (1)

And,

The value of all the coins = Rs. 11.25

Value of 20 P coins = 20* x = 20x P

Value of 25 P coins = 25 * y = 25y P

Hence,

20x + 25y = 11.25 * 100 P

→ 5 (4x + 5y) = 1125 P

→ 4x + 5y = 1125 / 5

→ 4x + 5y = 225 -- equation (2)

Multiply equation (1) by 4 and subtract equation (1) from (2).

→ 4x + 5y - 4 ( x + y) = 225 - 4(50)

→ 4x + 5y - 4x - 4y = 225 - 200

→ y = 25

Number of 20 P coins = 25

Substitute the value of y in equation (1)

→ x + y = 50

→ x + 25 = 50

→ x = 50 - 25

→ x = 25

Number of 25 P coins = 25

Hence, there 25 - 25 P coins and 25 - 20 P coins along with Rehman.
