\bold{Your\:answer\:is\:\:(168)}

\bold{\underline{Explanation-}}

We know that face value is 2568

and sale tax rate = 7%

Reduced ₹ x out of the mentioned face value and the purchase price = (2568 - x)

now,

Sales tax on =  \frac{(2568 - x) \times 7}{100}

so,

Price with sales tax = (2568 - x) +  \frac{(2568 - x) \times 7}{100}  = 2568

x =  \frac{(2568 - x) \times 7}{100}  \\  \\  \\ 100x = 2568 \times 7 - 7x \\  \\  \\  \\ 107x = 2568 \times 7 \\  \\  \\  \\ x = \frac{2568 \times 7}{107}  \\  \\  \\  \\  x= 24 \times 7 \\  \\  \\  \\ x = 168

so, ₹168 should be reduced from face value
