Present age of rekha = ( X + 3 ) years.

five years ago age of Anita = ( X - 5).

And,

Five years ago age of rekha = ( X + 3 - 5) years. = ( X - 2 ) years.

According to question,

X - 2= 4 ( X - 5)

X - 2= 4X - 20

4X -X = -2 +20

3x = 18 years

X = 6 years.
Present age of Anita = X = 6 years.

And,

Present age of rekha = X + 3 =6+3 = 9 years.
