And Rekha's mother be 4x

According to the question :

2 ( x + 20 ) = 4x + 20

2x + 40 = 4x + 20

40 - 20 = 4x - 2x

20 = 2x

2x = 20

x = 20 / 2

x = 10

4x = 4 × 10 = 40

So Rekha's age is 10 years and Rekha's mother age is 40 years.
