relate 36km/h with m/s

menmen: plzzans. it fastt
varshi: 10m/s
krupa: 36 km/hr = 36 multiplied by 1000 divided by 3600 we do this because in case of km 1km =1000m therefore to convert 36km into m we do 36 into 1000. in case of hours 1hr= 60 into60=3600 seconds

36Km/h = 36*1000/3600 m/s   (1Km. = 1000m.  & 1hour  = 3600sec.)
            = 10 m/s

menmen: in my book the ans. is one........how to solve it............i think 10m/sis rite
vikaskumar0507: if question is correct the answer is 10m/s cheque your answer once again.
vikaskumar0507: if the question is correct , answer is 10 m/s . check your answer once again.

Answer:

The answer is 10 m/s.

Explanation:

One kilometer is equal to 1,000 meters.

One hour = 3,600 seconds (One minute = 60 seconds and 60 minutes = one hour).

Applying the two above concepts, we get that

36 km/hr = (36*1,000)/3,600 m/s

   = 36,000/3600 m/s

  = 360/36 m/s

=> 36 km/hr = 10 m/s.
