Theoretical physics is the study of models of reality. Anything that happens can have a model built of it using the techniques of theoretical physics.

Experimental physics is the study of measurements of reality. Anything that happens can be measured using the techniques of experimental physics.

‘Branches’ of physics are something between an abstraction and a fiction. They are necessary in order to group the work into sensible groups, because nobody can know everything, but they aren’t real - I work in semiconductors, but I read books and papers about everything from soap to crystals for work purposes.

Phenomenon for each branch of physics are:
1.MECHANICS
speed of light is one.during thunderstorm,first we see a flash of lightening,then we hear a thunder.Means light speed is faster than sound speed.

2.HEAT
transmission of heat is phenomenon. During frying or boiling something,we feel radiation,convention and conduction of heat.

3.SOUND
when drop of rain drops into a pool,waves produce.Also,during speaking,our sound converts into waves and is forwarded to others.

4.NUCLEAR PHYSICS
A star.in stars and in sun,the fusion of hydrogen nuclei into helium nucleus makes them so hot and bright.

5.GEOPHYSICS
Volcanos are the phenomenon.The gases and magma inside volcano makes it to erupt.

6.LIGHT/OPTICS
A rainbow is the one. After raining,a spectrum of seven colours is seen through every drop of water.

7.PLASMA PHYSICS
During thunderstorms,when a bolt of lightening occurs,atoms in air get so much charged that they no longer can hold their electrons and become plasma for a brief period.Then electric current flows,making lightening.


8.ATOMIC PHYSICS
Fusion occurs at the surface of stars of hydrogen nuclei into helium nucleus, making them bright,hot and source of energy.


9.ELECTOMAGNETISM
Magnetic attraction of poles of magnet is phenomenon.their attraction is due to electromagnetic force and momentum of electrons.
