the cheese incident in novel three men in a boat is when jerome was going to meet his friend at that time jerome decided to take cheese as a present for his friend but unfortunately kerosene oil falls on it and it starts smelling bad and when he reached at the station the compartment was filled by the people but after some time the people in the compartment had gone from there .... and when he reached his friends home at that time his friend was not at home when he rings the doorbell his friends wife opened the door and phoned his friend ..... for telling that jerome came to meet him and he brings cheese for him and she was fadup with sour smell of the cheese so she decided to book a room in a hotel for a day when his friend came home... jerome as well as his friend burried the cheese
