Answer:
in an electromagnetic wave, electric field and magnetic field both have waveform i.e. magnitude of both can be expressed as function of (kx-wt) i.e. (kx-vt).
E=Asin (kx-wt)
B=Asin (kx-wt)
If we insert this relation in the Maxwell's one dimensional relation.
curl of E= -(time derivative of B)
we simply get: kE= wB
and we know velocity of light c = w/k
ultimately it gives the relation E= cB
it gives the relation of magnitudes of E and B, the direction of E, B and c are mutually perpendicular.
