Relation between Focal Length and Radius of Curvature of a Spherical Mirror :

\longrightarrow \sf{\underline{\boxed{\sf{f=\dfrac{R}{2}}}}\: \: OR \: \: \underline{\boxed{\sf{R=2f}}}

Where,

  • f = Focal length or of the spherical Mirror.
  • R = Radius of curvature of the spherical Mirror.

Focal length :

The distance of principal focus from the pole of the spherical mirror is called focal length of the mirror.

Radius of curvature :

The radius of curvature of a spherical mirror is the radius of a sphere of which the mirror forms a part.
