momentum is given by ,

P = mv

KE = 1/2mv²

here ,

m is mass and v is velocity

KE = 1/2 × (mv)v

     = 1/2 × P × v

     = PV/2

The relation now acquired is ,

KE = P²/2m

(OR)

P² = 2mK

P = √2mK
