BONJOUR ‼️
The relationship between current and potential difference was developed by sir OHM
before explanation let us denote current as i and potential difference as v
According to experiments conducted by him ,
v is proportional to I
v = ki ( say k as proportionality constant )
later by experiments ohm found that k is a specific property on material and named it as resistance ( meaning opposing conductivity )
let's denote this resistance as R
so now our equation becomes
V = iR
this is popularly known as ohms law and this is the relationship between potential difference and current
HOPE IT HELPS YOU
