On the surface of earth theacceleration due to gravity, g = GM/R^2, where, G is Newton's universal gravitational constant M is the mass of the earth and R is the radius of earth. Putting all the values we get, acceleration due to gravity(g)= 9.8 m/s^2.Aug 20, 2017
