Hey there !

Molarity and Molality both refer to the concentration terms used in measuring solutions.

Molarity refers to the number of moles of solute per litre of that solution.

Molarity = Number of Moles of solute / Volume of the soln, ( in Litres )

Molality refers to the Number of moles of solute present in 1 kg of Solvent .

Molality = Number of Moles / Mass of solvent ( in kg )

Hope my answer helped !

rajk123654987: You meant the relation ?
paltan: yes
rajk123654987: Yeah Relation is present
paltan: tell
paltan: me
paltan: that
rajk123654987: yeah sure
paltan: hm
rajk123654987: Molality = Molarity * Volume of soln / Mass of solvent
paltan: ok
