they are actually related..because of increase in population..increase in demands of house and more things like roads, are increasing..for which plants are cut instead of planting..deforestation is occuring rapidly with the increase in population..

Overpopulation is the condition where the number of existing living creatures and human population exceeds the limited habitats and resources to sustain them.

Population explosion leads to several consequences. The increase in population puts pressure on our resources such as land, water and food as the demand increased. Overpopulation results in depletion of natural resources like fossil fuels and destruction of forests for housing and timber industries. Forest covered land are destroyed to make settlements for the increasing population. Natural forest products are used and exhausted. The destruction of forests due to population growth leads to lesser lifesaving oxygen in the atmosphere and reduce the quality of life.
