Every object has its some resistance and resistance depends upond how strong intermolecukar force of ttraction exist between particles. Every object has its own resistance and resitivity.

The resistance directly depends upon length and cros section area. In mathematical way,

R ∝ l / A where l refres to length and A refers to cross section area. When proportional sign is removed then we get a constant value þ called rho.

Thus resistance is directly proportional to its length and inversely proportional to its cross section area.
