• General Laws: both the sciences have general laws that have numerous applications. The practicality of something is relied on some some theories or law.

• Use of empirical and measured data: theories in both science can be tested by empirical statements and data.

• Applicability: as both sciences are based on rational and scientific model hence they are applicable in society and on nature.

Although they have differences like:

• the laws of science could hardly change but the laws of social sciences could change with time.
• social science don't have rigorous testing standard as they come up with hypothesis that are impossible to test whereas it is opposite with science.
