R.D.=density of gold/density of water at 4°C.
19.5=density of gold/1000
Density of gold=19.5*1000=19500Kg/m^3

OR Density of gold=19500/1000
=19.5g/cc

Relative density is the ratio of density of substance to the density of water.

Density of water = 1000 kg/m³

Relative density =  \frac{density. of. substance }{density. of .water }

Lets take the density of gold as " x"

19.5 =   \frac{x}{1000 }

x = 19.5 × 1000
= 19500 kg/m³

SI Unit of density is kg/m³

∴ density of gold = 19500 kg/m³

1 kg/m³ = 0.001 g /cm³
19500 kg/m³ = 19.5 g/cm³

density of gold = 19500 kg/m³ = 19.5 g/cm³
