The most wise religious policy of Kings among all Mughal rulers was that of Akbar.
He won the loyalty of Rajputs by his religious tolerance policy, he even made marital relationships with them to make Hindu Muslim unity bond stronger. He abolished jiziya which was tax paid by non Muslims. And the most fanatic ruler was Aurangzeb, he imposed jiziya and pilgrimage taxes on non Muslims because of which he lost the loyalty of Rajputs and ultimately his empire started declining.
