Picture cards mean Face cards.

Since there are 12 face cards, So after removing them, we get a total of 52 - 12 = 40 cards.

(a) Total favourable outcomes = 2

Total possible outcomes = 40

•°• P(E) = 2/40

=> P(E) = 1/20

(b) Total favourable outcomes = 1

Total possible outcomes = 40

•°• P(E) = 1/40

(c) Total favourable outcomes = 4

Total possible outcomes = 40

•°• P(E) = 4/40

=> P(E) = 1/10

(d) Total favourable outcomes = 10

Total possible outcomes = 40

•°• P(E) = 10/40

=> P(E) = 1/4
