• Rahat Indori generally was  known as Rahat Qureshi , He was born on 1st January 1950  in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

• He is regarded as one of the best Urdu famous poets. He was also an Indian Bollywood lyricist.
• He completed his MA and Ph.D. in Urdu literature. In 1985, He was awarded a Ph.D. in Urdu literature from the Bhoj University.

• He died on 11th August 2020 due to Covid-19 at the age of 70 in  Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
