renu is having swelling in her feet. she has been advised to place her feet in lukewarm salty water. how will this help in reducing the swelling? explain.

The swelling in Renu's feet occured due to a fluid called lymph in between the inter-cellular spaces.. This fluid mostly consists of water.By placing the leg in lukewarm water in which salt is added, due to the prosses of osmosis, the water in her leg which is less concentrated goes in to the salt water which is high concentrated.
