Given :-

Renuka bought bananas in the ratio

3 : 7: 5 on three particular day

On third day, Renuka bought 55 bananas

Solution 1 :-

Let the ratios be 3x, 7x and 5x

Here, we know that,

On third day Renuka bought = 55 bananas

Therefore,

5x = 55

x = 55/5

x = 11

Thus,

On first day Renuka bought = 3x

= 3 * 11 = 33

On second day Renuka bought = 7x

= 7 * 11 = 77

On third day Renuka bought = 5x

= 5 * 11 = 55

Hence The total number of bananas

= 33 + 77 + 55 = 165

Solution 2 :-

Let the ratios be 3x, 5x and 7x

We know that,

Renuka bought 55 bananas on third day

Therefore ,

5x = 55

x = 55/5 = 11

On first day Renuka bought 3x

= 3 * x = 33 bananas

On second Renuka bought 7x

= 7 * 11= 77 bananas

Hence, The total number of bananas of other two days,

33 + 77 = 110 bananas .
