Answer:

When cover crops are regularly part of a rotation, their residues increase soil organic matter. The organic matter feeds the growth of microbes, which increases the release of N as they die and decompose.

Answer:

Repititive growing of crop takes more and more nutirents from the soil as crops are growing continuously so all the nutrients present in the soil will bereduced over a period of time.

Thus, Repititive growing of crop over a period of time affects the fertility of soil.

In order to make the soil fertilize again, farmers can leave the field uncultivated for 2-3 months or he/she can use fertilizers and manure to enrich the soil with nutrients.
