Given :- Replace * by the correct integer : (650*) – (*0*5) = (4*57) ?

Answer :-

650*

- *0*5

4*57

starting from right,

→(*) - 5 = 7

→ (*) = 7 + 5 = 12 = 2 .

now, we have,

6502

- *0 * 5

4* 57

since, 1 was carry ,

→ 9 - (*) = 5

→ (*) = 9 - 5 = 4 .

now, we have,

6502

- * 045

4* 57

now, 1 carry was taken from 5 ,

→ 4 - 0 = 4 .

now, we have,

6502

- * 045

4457

in last, we get,

→ 6 - (*) = 4

→ (*) = 6 - 4 = 2 .

therefore, finally we get,

6502 - 2045 = 4457 .
