A Truly Beautiful Mind is based on a biography of a clever scientist, Albert Einstein. It starts out with Einstein as a small boy till his death. Summarizing the story, everyone thought he would not be successful in life. He also changed his school from Munich to Zurich, because he thought the school in Zurich was much more liberal than Munich. While at Zurich, he met his first love, Mileva Maric, a Serb. He thoght of her to be a 'clever creature' and regarded her as an ally against the 'philistines'. He married her in January 1903 and had 2 sons. But later, the marriage faltered and they got divorced in 1919. He married his cousin Elsa in the same year.

Einstein is widely known for his startling theories on the relation of gravity and others. During the second World War, he warned the US president, Franklin Roosevelt, of the destructive power of the atomic bomb. The president did not pay any heed to him and bombed the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Einstein was shaken by this and campaigned for peace and democracy against the arms buildup.

To conclude, Einstein died in 1955 at the age of 76 due to an abdominal failure. He was known and celebrated a missionary and a world citizen as well as a scientific genius.
